Marie Thérèse, Ministry at the Margins & Bergamo’s Ministry of Hospitality
Saturday, March 7, 2025 | 2:00–5:00 pm
Bergamo Center for Lifelong Learning | Dayton
Come Home to Bergamo to explore Marie Thérèse’s vision and how it is being lived out today, in part through Bergamo’s hospitality in ministry with Ignatian Spirituality Project
Join the Bergamo Center for Lifelong Learning and the Ignatian Spirituality Project for a Lenten afternoon of reflection and prayer.
The afternoon will feature reflections led by NACMS program team member Sr. Laura Leming, FMI, on Marie Thérèse de Lamourous and her courageous leadership of the Miséricorde in Bordeaux. Together, we will explore how we as Marianist family can extend her enduring expression of Marianist hospitality, offering welcome, dignity, and renewal to people seeking to transform their lives.
Bergamo invites the Marianist Family to carry Marie Therese’s spirit forward by offering spiritual companionship to people recovering from homelessness and addiction through retreats and reflections that foster welcome, hope, and healing.
The afternoon will conclude with a Marianist liturgy with Fr. Ted Cassidy presiding beginning at 4:00 pm, in keeping with the Saturday vigil Mass.
Cost: Free (coffee service provided)
Kindly, register here by February 27, 2026.
